The Mitchell Scholarship

In February 2024, US-Ireland Alliance board member, Brian Barrington, joined the class of 2024 Mitchell Scholars for a weekend in and around Belfast, part of an annual tradition to give every Scholar an opportunity to visit Northern Ireland during their year on the island.   The visit included another tradition, a tour of the peace wall murals with Queen’s University professor, Dominic Bryan.  The class also toured the Crumlin Road Gaol Tour and the Titanic Museum.  They also visited the Giant’s Causeway and Portrush. And they lucked out with good weather!
