Class of 2024 ends the year in Dingle

The 24th Class of Mitchell Scholars finished the year with a trip to Dingle.  Great food, great walks, and great weather for the most part.   Irish designer Don O’Neill and Pascal Guillermie joined for the group for dinner one evening.  Trina first met Don via the Oscar Wilde Awards, as he dressed Sarah Bolger and Jenn Murray when they were honored as Wilde Cards (up and coming talented actors).  The Scholars also took a cooking class with Mark Murphy at his award-winning Dingle Cookery School.  Several took the Dingle Sea Safari and enjoyed viewing the Great Blasket Islands, dolphins, the Dingle coastline, and where some of Star Wars was filmed (another connection to the Oscar Wilde Awards).  And thank you Kay & John https://hiddenirelandtours.com/about-us/ for the hike up Mt. Eagle.  And Trina caught up with Ros and John Hubbard, previous honorees of Oscar Wilde Awards, and Maurice Galway, Festival Director of Animation Ireland.
