Thaddea Graham to be honored at the Oscar Wilde Awards

Shobsy to perform

November 4, 2026. The US-Ireland Alliance has announced that Thaddea Graham will receive the Wilde Card Award at the Oscar Wilde Awards, to be held on 11 March 2027, at The Ebell of Los Angeles.  Irish singer Shobsy will perform.

Irish American actor Jack Reynor was previously announced as an honoree.

US-Ireland Alliance president, Trina Vargo, said, “We look forward to honoring Thady with our Wilde Card Award, which is presented to someone we expect you’ll hear a lot more from.” Previous recipients of the honor include Saoirse Ronan and Barry Keoghan.

Thaddea Graham is a Northern Irish actress possibly best recognized for her appearance as O in the final season of the Emmy Award-winning Netflix series Sex Education and starring as DI Una Houlihan in the second season of the BAFTA Award-winning series Bad Sisters, a black comedy created by Sharon Horgan, Dave Finkel, and Brett Baer for Apple TV+.

Thaddea most recently starred in Margo’s Got Money Troubles as Susie, Margo's roommate, played by Elle Fanning. The Apple TV+ series also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman and follows Margo, a young mother struggling to make ends meet who creates an OnlyFans account, raising questions about the price of internet fame. The series earned rave reviews, with Thaddea’s performance described as scene-stealing, and has since been renewed for a second season. She will soon appear in ARTIFICIAL, a film from Luca Guadagnino that stars Andrew Garfield as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

In 2025, Thaddea appeared in the psychological thriller AFTER THE HUNT, directed by Luca Guadagnino, alongside Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, and Michael Stuhlbarg. The Amazon MGM and Sony Pictures Releasing film follows Alma (Roberts), a college professor who is caught up in a sexual abuse accusation that involves one of her students and a colleague. Last year, Thaddea also appeared in the Noah Baumbach-directed Netflix film JAY KELLY, alongside George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, and Billy Crudup.

Thaddea’s career began with the 2014 short film PAINKILLER. Other appearances include Curfew (2019), a dystopian action-drama series for Sky; The Letter for the King, a Netflix series inspired by the classic Dutch novel of 1962 by Tonke Dragt; and US, a comedy-drama series based on the book by David Nicholls. In 2021, she starred in The Irregulars, a series loosely based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. That same year, she played a recurring role as Bel in Doctor Who. In 2022, Thaddea took on a lead role in Redemption, a series for Virgin Media Television and ITV, and starred as Vivian in the audience-hit horror television film WRECK, which aired for two seasons.
