More Participants Announced for Oscar Wilde Awards

Maura Tierney, Domhnall Gleeson, and Lee Cronin will be honored at the US-Ireland Alliance’s 20th Oscar Wilde Awards on 12 March at the Ebell of Los Angeles.
Trina Vargo, president of the non-profit US-Ireland Alliance, announced additional participants for the popular event, known for being the casual and unstuffy option in the Oscar week party lineup.
It was previously announced that Irish singer, Dave Lofts will perform. In addition to Lofts, Dermot Kennedy will perform. Kennedy’s third full-length offering, The Weight of the Woods will be released on 27 March. His 2019 Without Fear, became the best-selling debut album in Ireland. He reached Platinum status in 12 countries and gathered nearly 5 billion total streams.
Matt Walsh, a two-time Emmy-nominated actor from HBO’s award-winning comedy series Veep, and a cast member of Apple TV’s acclaimed limited series Manhunt, will serve as emcee for the evening.
Presenters include Jason Blum and Monica Horan Rosenthal.
Blum is the CEO of Blumhouse Productions, producers of M3GAN, THE LOST BUS, and BLACK PHONE 2. Known for their horror franchises, Blumhouse is also a producer of Lee Cronin’s upcoming film THE MUMMY.
Horan Rosenthal is best known as for her role as Amy MacDougal on the Emmy-winning sitcom Everybody Loves Raymondand for appearing with her husband Phil Rosenthal for eight seasons in the Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil.
